  • 1 kg cake mix
  • 500 g eggs
  • 500 g butter
  • Whisk for 7 minutes in the 2nd setting with a butterfly whisk.

- Produces a slightly heavier cake than cake mix

Recipe for butter cake

Butter                          250 g

Sugar                          250 g

Lemongrass                10 g

Eggs                            4

Bisquick                      150 g

Flour                           150 g

Milk                             100 g

Fruit (candied)            400 g

Recipe for fruit cake

Butter                              350 g

Sugar                             450 g

Lemongrass                   25 g

Eggs                               5

Bisquick                         450 g

Flour                              450 g

Milk                                100 g

Fruit (candied)               400 g


  • Whisk the butter and sugar, add the eggs one by one, mix and sift the flour and bisquick, and gradually incorporate into the mixture.
  • Then mix in the milk and the candied fruit.
  • Fill moulds halfway.
  • Bake at 180°C.
