Recipe for flan

330 g        Flanomax

170 g        Sugar

240 g        Water

1 L            Milk

Method

  • Beat the flanomax powder together with the sugar and water: whisk for 5 minutes at the highest setting using the wire whisk.
  • Then add the milk (stop whisking at this point).
  • Pour the liquid up to the edge of the dough-filled moulds.
  • Bake at 180°C for 45 to 60 minutes.
  • Turn upside down and leave to cool on the rack.

Recipe for cheesecake

  • Same as the recipe for flan
  • + 500 to 700 g full-fat curd cheese (quark)

Method

  • Beat the flanomax powder together with the sugar and water: whisk for 5 minutes at the highest setting using the wire whisk.
  • Beat the curd cheese into this foamy mixture for 1 minute.
  • Then add the milk (stop whisking at this point).
  • Bake like a flan, but do not turn over
